STORY

As a user myself (Charlie, Co-Founder), I wanted an easy way to charge my Meta glasses without using the case. So I started sketching a couple of ideas. I wanted something very simple and elegant that would look great by itself without any glasses on it. The height and weight was taken into consideration as well as the finish. During the design process, I think about how users will actually use the product and where they will be using it. In the end, this is the design and I think it came out really well.

I studied and researched all types of eyeglass stands. Well...they were all terrible. So, I decided to design one.

PREMIUM ALUMINUM

Carving out of one piece of material was always the goal. Just like iPhones that are made of aluminum, I envisioned a solid rectangular block that has been carved out into the design that you see now. The solidness and stability was important for such a stand like this. It's a heft small piece when you hold it.
